Features

• Word counter panel (toolbar button or Tools → GoSaveTool → Word counter): words, characters, characters without spaces, sentences, lines and reading time of the note, or of the selected text
• Markdown aware: front matter, link targets, heading and list marks and formatting marks are not counted, so the numbers match what a reader sees
• Character limits of X posts, Instagram and TikTok captions, YouTube titles and descriptions, LinkedIn posts, Pinterest descriptions, SEO titles and meta descriptions
• Case changes for the selected text: Title Case, Sentence case, UPPERCASE, lowercase, slug, camelCase, snake_case, kebab-case and Clean spaces, from the panel, the Tools menu or the editor's right-click menu
• Subtitles: select an SRT or WebVTT block in a note and convert it to the other format
• Works offline. No network access, no data stored.

All commands are in Tools → GoSaveTool and can be given keyboard shortcuts in Options → Keyboard Shortcuts (search for "GoSaveTool").

Install

In Joplin: Tools → Options → Plugins, search for GoSaveTool and click Install. Or download publish/com.gosavetool.text-tools.jpl and use Install from file (the gear icon on the Plugins page).

No dependencies:
